I finally have my office halfway done. I got a new desk and curtains. I still need a new chair for the desk and a couch. So here are two pics of the finished half of the office. We have this little alcove (is that what it’s called?) in our entryway. I really don’t like it and have no idea what to do with it, so for the time being we hung a photo there. Any suggestions what to do with it?

    I LOVE your desk. Pottery barn? Not only are you an amazing photographer, but you have a knack for decorating as well. So when I have I baby I’ll hire you to take pictures AND decorate my house 🙂

    Thanks! Yes, the desk is from Pottery Barn. My old one was from Ikea and didn’t hold up well so I am hoping this one lasts longer.

    What if you painted in the alcove with chalkboard paint? Then you could leave messages for your family and friends!
